About The Artist

I am Lisa, proud owner and potter of Elm Pottery LLC. Pretty and practical pottery for you to enjoy! Handcrafted stoneware pottery made in the center of the Ozarks of Highfill, Arkansas. Our studio is set on our True Evans Cattle Farm. ELM stands for Evans, Lisa Marie, my full name. Too, the Elm Tree is native to Arkansas. The Evans True name also has a long family history in Highfill and Gentry dating back to when it was a dairy farm in 1946.

The arts and creativity were a huge influence on me at a very young age. It started in Honolulu, Hawaii where I was raised, and my mother pursued a commercial arts degree at the University of Honolulu. I then lived in Sarasota-Bradenton, Florida most of my graphic design career of 30 years in various industries from corporate real estate, industrial goods, travel and tourism, non-profit and retail. Now this Florida city gal married a wonderful cattle farmer and archeologist from the University of Arkansas from a quaint small town of Highfill, Arkansas. You could say I am living the Hallmark dream!

So, when you buy and own a piece of carefully handcrafted stoneware from me, you are getting a genuine homemade piece of pottery that has long standing historical roots from Northwest Arkansas.
